About
Buz somehow always knew that he was called to teach, train, and serve the church. He has followed this call in several ways--from academic study, where he earned his Ph.D. in Old Testament Literature from Gateway Seminary, to ministry in the local church, where has served on the Pastoral Team in churches in Oklahoma and California. He now serves as the Lead Pastor of Element Church in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Buz has a passion for unlocking the power of the written and spoken word to make complicated ideas easy to understand. His work is aimed at helping the modern Christian or skeptic understand the ideas of the Bible and making that ancient message accessible and available to all.
When he's not writing, you can find Buz reading fiction or history, playing a board game (perhaps Terraforming Mars!), watching soccer, or spending time with his beloved wife Tara and their four sons.
